The cases of missing and murdered women along Canada's Highway 16 continue to be investigated by the RCMP's EPANA project, with predators still at large. The remains of one victim, Delphine Nikal, took 17 years to be discovered, while a convicted murderer has been considered a suspect in some of the cases.
