Holding on to a relatively cool object in between sets for two minutes or so can effectively reduce your core body temperature, allowing you to do more volume of endurance and strength training, particularly when reaching plateaus. This Palmer cooling technique could be used to vastly increase your volume or endurance in a given session or a set of sessions.
