Justin Bamberg, the attorney representing the Pinckney family, states that the misappropriated money was used to pay unusually high fees to Palmetto State Bank CEO, Russell Lafitte, and to benefit Charlie Lafitte Jr., amongst other suspicious disbursements of client funds.
