The White Hand was one of the most feared death squads in Colombia, responsible for hundreds of murders and disappearances. It was led by a Guatemalan who was also the head of the Guatemalan chapter of the World Anti-Communist League, and who was later involved in the genocide against the Maya population in the 1980s.
