The lockdowns implemented in India had direct effects on migrant workers who lived hand to mouth and were unable to provide for themselves due to the inability to earn money during the pandemic. However, the hope lies in the younger generation who observe the actions of our scientific and political leaders and strive to not repeat past mistakes.
