Dick and Jim ask Judge Newman to strike the state's request for an alibi defense to be provided during the trial of Alex Murdock on account of the state not telling them when and where the murders occurred. The state is allowed to request an alibi defense but the defense isn't obligated to prove its truth, however, the state can ask if the defense is planning on raising one.
