Understanding Binaural Beats and Brain Waves
Binaural beats produce a four-hertz vibration, causing the brain to mathematically make up the difference between two frequencies as it hears each tone in each ear, resulting in brain waves. Brain waves occur as neurons fire electrical signals throughout the brain, producing different rhythms such as whenever we hear a rhythmic sound.
Clips
The neurons in our brain communicate with each other through electrical signals, or brain waves, as they fire from one neuron to the next via synapses, allowing us to have thoughts and operate different subsystems throughout the brain.

Summary
Binaural beats involve playing two different frequencies in each ear that the brain processes as a single tone. This stimulates the brainwaves to adjust to the difference between the two frequencies, which can help reduce stress and anxiety.
