The concept of anthropomorphizing is outdated and rooted in a pre-scientific era, where humans were deemed as magic and everything else wasn't. With the advancements we have today, we can someday be able to sit in front of an anatomical computer and specify the shape of any plant or animal and have a set of stimuli generated for the cells to build the exact shape required.
