The idea of a completely decentralized virtual space is hard to imagine as humans have a natural tendency towards centralized discovery and identifying taste makers or curators for assistance in decision making. Despite talk of the benefits of decentralization, a few dominant players with substantial resources are likely to create the most addictive and compelling virtual spaces.
