The COVID-19 vaccines are not equivalent to traditional vaccines like for smallpox and chickenpox; however, a recent study has shown a reduction in hospitalization and death rates for those who received the bivalent booster vaccine. Despite debates, the data shows that deaths from COVID-19 are happening significantly more to individuals who did not get vaccinated.
