President Biden has authorized special forces to kill the ISIS leader, who committed atrocities against the Yazidi people, in order to minimize civilian casualties. The operation resulted in the death of Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi after he exploded a bomb that killed members of his family.
