Psychiatrists Observe Anxiety Patients Being More Prepared for a Pandemic
A psychiatrist has observed that some of their patients who have anxiety were surprisingly well-prepared for the COVID-19 pandemic because they had already been using strategies to manage their anxiety, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and felt more equipped to face the situation. Some of these patients found themselves giving advice to their friends who were worried and felt that their experiences with anxiety had prepared them for the pandemic.
