The ruling in favor of a woman's right to hand out anonymous pamphlets opened the doors for unlimited anonymous contributions to nonprofit action groups called 501 C4s which do not have to disclose their donors' identities. This has led to concerns about the funding behind certain political campaigns such as climate change denial.
