Romantic relationships require a multitude of elements to work effectively including being best friends, being sexually attracted to each other, and being good co-parents and roommates. It is possible for humans to have different types of relationships with others but there may be interest in romantic relationships with robots; however, this would likely be a separate and more narrow experience.
