MAPS Public Benefit is currently leading research on the therapeutic benefits of MDMA and other psychedelics, with hopes of gaining FDA approval for doctors to prescribe them to patients with certain ailments in the near future. It's unclear exactly when this will happen, but expanded access programs may allow patients to pay for the treatment themselves in the meantime.
