John Crowley co-founded Novazheim Pharmaceuticals in 2000 to find a cure for his children's Pompe disease, which was later acquired by Genzyme Corporation for $200 million. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of Amicus Therapeutics, a publicly traded biotechnology company, and a former commissioned intelligence officer in the U.S Navy Reserve, assigned to the Joint Special Operations Command.
