Using the Carbon Dioxide Tolerance Test for Recovery and Enhancing Training Output with Sodium Bicarbonate
The carbon dioxide tolerance test involves taking four deep breaths in and out through the nose, followed by a maximum inhale and exhale with a recorded duration of the exhale through the nose. This test can be used to gauge recovery after a training session. Sodium bicarbonate can also be used to enhance training output in certain contexts, and should be taken after proper experimentation and testing.
