listen on Spotify
04:49 - 09:15 (04:26)

The reason why trees have leaves is to convert sunlight into energy for the tree to grow. However, during winter when the ground is frozen and there's no water for the tree to give a leaf, the tree loses its leaves, so it doesn't suck the tree dry of all the water that it needs to survive.
